Florence Floods, Italy, 1966 in which 100 died and many cultural artefacts, books, paintings and sculptures were damaged. It was the worst flood for five hundred years. Damaged paintings on the back of a truck en route from the Uffizi Gallery to the Palazzo Pitti Gallery.
