Mourners laying flowers at the funeral of Kelso Cochrane, St Michael and All Angels Church, Ladbroke Grove, West London, 1959. Kelso Cochrane, an Antiguan immigrant, was stabbed by 3 white youths, thought to be linked to the Oswald Mosley Union Movement fascist presence in the area. His unsolved murder, following on from the Notting Hill race riots a year earlier, led to the British Government holding an enquiry into race relations - Alan Vines - 1959-06-06
