In the mountains close to the Abkhazian border, in a remote part of Georgia stands the falling remains of what was once a small town built by the Soviet Union to house damn workers. Now it is the home to hundreds of Abkhazian refugees. More than 40,000 people were killed and 350,000 refugees created as a result of the seperatist war which resulted when Abkhazia tried to gain independence from Georgia.
