Detroit, Michigan a woman holding a child and a picture of a murder victim as hundreds protest against gun violence. The Walk for Unity was held on Mack Avenue, the intersection between mostly black Detroit and largely white Grosse Pointe. The communities have come together since the December 2014 murders of two girls, one black and one white.
